Openning The First Store
Meir Roth Ltd. began its journey in 1975 with the opening of a firearms retail store in downtown Rishon LeZion, founded by Meir Roth.
With the opening of the store, Meir fulfilled his lifelong dream, turning a childhood passion into a profession. Together with his wife Tzipi and a dedicated team, the store offered customers a wide range of firearms-including handguns, air rifles, hunting rifles, ammunition-as well as related equipment such as holsters, knives, multi-tools, and binoculars.
The first store marked the beginning of the company’s journey and laid the foundation for values that continue to guide the company to this day: professionalism, reliability, and outstanding customer service.
New Branch
In 2002, Meir Roth realized another long-held vision with the establishment of the Meir Roth Shooting Range Complex in the Rishon LeZion industrial zone combining a licensed firearms retail store with two adjacent shooting ranges.
Considered among the most impressive in the country, the ranges are used for firearms licensing training, license renewals, refresher courses, practical shooting and operational shooting courses, as well as professional training for range safety officers and firearms instructors. The facility also offers open shooting sessions for licensed handgun owners.
Operating alongside the ranges is a fully licensed firearms retail store, providing customers with comprehensive services including the purchase, sale, and trade-in of firearms, repair services, secure firearm storage, and the sale of ammunition and related accessories.
The opening of this facility marked a significant milestone in the company’s growth and further strengthened its commitment to providing professional, safe, and high-quality service to its customers.
New Generation
In 2007, the company’s management transitioned to the second generation of the Roth family, who took on the responsibility of developing and advancing the company’s operations while maintaining the high standards and benchmarks established over the years.
Simultaneously, the company solidified its position as a leading player in the export sector and continued to expand its activities in international markets, consistently upholding professionalism, reliability, and excellence across all areas of operation.
Leading Importer and Exporter
After more than 35 years of active presence in the Israeli market, the company has established itself as a leading importer and exporter in the private sector. Throughout the years, it has built a broad, loyal, and dedicated customer base, with many clients accompanying the company across second and even third generations.
The company’s extensive experience, long-term stability, and uncompromising commitment to quality and personalized service enable it to continue leading its field, while precisely adapting to customer needs and the ever-evolving dynamics of the market.
Company Expansion: New Warehouse, Training Hall and Additional Offices
In 2022, we doubled the company’s operational space with the opening of a new warehouse, a training hall, and additional offices, as part of our ongoing growth and expansion. The new warehouse was designed to optimize storage and logistics, increase product availability, and enable the delivery of faster, more efficient, and highly professional service to our clients.
Today, the company operates two licensed warehouses for firearms and ammunition storage, fully compliant with all stringent regulations and standards. The first warehouse covers 90 sqm, and the second 175 sqm, totaling 265 sqm of advanced storage space maintained under the highest safety and professional standards.
The state-of-the-art training hall allows us to conduct courses in full compliance with the National Security Authority requirements, under optimal conditions and at the highest market standards.
The expansion of the company’s facilities marks a significant milestone in our development and underscores our ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and the delivery of reliable, professional service at every stage.
Renovation, Upgrade, and Expansion of Company Facilities
As part of the company’s ongoing process of renewal and growth, we have significantly upgraded and expanded our facilities with the aim of creating a more advanced, professional, and comfortable service and working environment.
A new retail store was constructed, featuring five reception stations, each fully independent and capable of providing complete service to customers. The shooting ranges were fully renovated, including the installation of advanced PVC flooring, upgraded insulation, and modern lighting—all in full compliance with the highest safety, health, and acoustic standards. The ventilation system in the ranges is among the best in the world, with an air exchange rate exceeding regulatory requirements by more than 50 percent.
Our training rooms were renovated and expanded, now featuring comfortable seating, advanced technology, and display screens, enabling professional training at the highest level under ideal conditions and in a focused, comfortable learning environment. In addition, a modern online room was established, providing fast and professional support to all of our customers.
For the benefit of our team, new locker rooms, a locker wall, and changing facilities were constructed, alongside a fully equipped staff kitchenette. New, high-standard restroom facilities were also built for customers, all designed to ensure a comfortable and optimal environment for employees and visitors alike.
All upgrades and improvements were carried out with the goal of enhancing the team’s working conditions, elevating the customer experience, and delivering professional, accessible, and pleasant service—from the moment customers enter the store through the completion of their visit. This project symbolizes our ongoing commitment to excellence, quality, and safety, and reflects our continuous investment in creating an outstanding experience for both employees and customers at every stage.
Meir Roth Jubilee Celebrations- Fifty Years of Excellence
In its jubilee year, Meir Roth Ltd. celebrated fifty years of dedication, achievement, and values that have guided the company throughout its history since its founding in 1975. The milestone events provided an opportunity to pause and honor everyone who has contributed to the company’s success- employees, managers, and family members who have been part of the journey- highlighting the human connection that has guided the company across generations.
The jubilee celebrations included a unique company trip to the Czech Republic, connecting the past, present, and future. During these days, shared experiences, conversations, and memories were created, alongside a professional visit to CZ, reflecting the long-standing international partnerships, commitment to quality and professionalism, and the core values that drive the company.
This milestone provides an opportunity to pause and appreciate the journey we have made together and to honor the people who make it exceptional. We move forward with pride, partnership, and unwavering dedication toward meaningful work and shared success in the decades to come.
Succession of Ownership
Following the completion of the company’s jubilee celebrations, the transfer of ownership to the second generation of the family was finalized. This milestone marked a significant chapter in the company’s development and ensured continuity in both management and business leadership.
The second generation, which has led the company’s operations since 2007, continues to strengthen the company’s core values, drive its growth, and adapt its activities to the challenges and opportunities of the years ahead.

The company is the exclusive representative in Israel of many of the world’s leading international firearms and defense brands, including: Beretta (USA), Benelli, Winchester, Colt, CZ, Fiocchi, Aguila, ZEV Technologies, Wilson Combat, Staccato, Shadow Systems, Swampfox, Maxim Defense, Phoenix, SPS, LaserMax, Weihrauch, Hogue, and Night Fision.
In addition, the company is an authorized importer of Heckler & Koch and TRUGLO, and distributes products from other top-tier manufacturers such as GLOCK, SIG SAUER, Smith & Wesson, and others.
The company serves as an authorized supplier to the Israeli Ministry of Defense, government and regulated entities, as well as some of Israel’s largest security companies. It operates in full compliance with international quality standards and has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
